Jon Williams
Engineer
Jon joined CJW in 2014 as a Water Resources Engineer and has over 40 years of work experience in the Civil Engineering field. He has both private and public sector experience, serving as the Assistant Stormwater Engineer with Greene County, Missouri for nearly 10 years. Jon has 30+ years of design experience in land development including site layout & grading, design of public and private infrastructure (streets, water & sanitary sewer systems) with an emphasis on stormwater conveyance, retention/detention, & water quality and other related aspects of land development industry. Specific to stormwater management, Jon has performed watershed analyses for bridges and culverts, conducted channel studies for stream stabilization projects, FEMA regulated floodplain studies, Corps of Engineers site reviews for Section 404 impacts, as well as regional stormwater collection and conveyance. He has worked on projects in numerous states including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, California, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Mississippi, and overseas in South Korea. In 2016, he was the recipient of an Environmental Excellence award for his design, construction coordination and supplemental field work associated with the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks Campus at Valley Water Mill in Springfield.
